One of the joys of coming into adulthood is getting to read the books in the front of Barnes & Noble, instead of just the ones upstairs. That is to say, I feel like I can now read the professional and self-development books that I once felt an eighth grader had no business looking into. I still enjoy a good mystery and historical fiction novel, but I have recently discovered how much I love reading books that apply to what I'm learning in my classes and experiencing in my recent endeavors to join the 'grown-up' workforce.
